The landmark National JP Convention 2019 was held at Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute to award Justices of the Peace involved in reconciliation in Sri Lanka. Special guests included Prof. Krishan Deharagoda and Dr. Nilantha Liyanage.
The Eastern Province JP Convention was held under the theme "Bright Sri Lanka" at Addalaichenai. Over 300 JPs from Trincomalee, Batticaloa, and Ampara districts participated. New provincial directors were appointed and honored with gold shawls.
The Central Province JP Convention was held at Abu Sali Hall, Hatton. Conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English under the theme "Bright Sri Lanka", the event brought together JPs from Central Province districts including Nuwara Eliya, Matale, and Kandy.
The Northern Province JP Convention — the third provincial convention — was held at Aruntathi Hall, Vavuniya. JPs who dedicated themselves to peace in the North and East were presented with special awards. Representatives from all northern districts participated.
CJPSL hosted the prestigious Nelson Mandela International Peace Summit 2019 at Hector Kobbekaduwa Institute, Colombo. South Africa High Commissioner H.E. RP Marks, Prof. Krishan Deharagoda, Dr. Fahath A. Majeed, and Dr. Maheshwaran attended as special guests. Nelson Mandela International Peace Awards were presented to JPs for outstanding reconciliation work.
Organised by the Colombo District Members of the Council, the Colombo Peace Conference brought together dedicated peace advocates and legal professionals. Honored guests made speeches on the peace process, UN peace policy, and Sri Lanka's reconciliation journey.

Third provincial convention held at Aruntathi Luxury Hall, Vavuniya at 3:00 PM. Special awards presented to JPs for peace work in the North and East. All northern district directors represented.
